Channel manager
Channel manager for tours and activities
Tourandi's channel manager brings bookings from your website, your desk, OTAs, resellers and free-tour platforms onto one shared capacity. You create the product once, every channel sells from the same places and every booking records the commission it carries.

- Your website
- OTAs
- Resellers
- Free tours

What it solves
Sell in many places without selling the same seat twice
A channel manager for tours keeps a single availability for every place you sell. Without one, each platform has its own calendar, someone has to close places by hand and overbooking turns up on exactly the busiest days.
In Tourandi each channel is a record with its type (direct, OTA, reseller or free-tour platform) and its commission rule. Bookings from any channel come off the same capacity, and if you list the same departure as different products on several platforms, a shared capacity pool makes them all draw from the same places.
Today, OTA bookings come in through the Turitop sync or through quick add, which fills in the booking when you paste the platform's email. Direct connections with Civitatis, GetYourGuide and Viator are coming soon.
With one calendar per channel
- You close places by hand on each platform when a departure fills
- You find the overbooking at the meeting point
- You work out at month end what you owe each platform
- You miss fee refunds for no-shows
With Tourandi's channel manager
- Every booking comes off the same capacity straight away
- Each departure shows how many places came from each channel
- Every booking stores its fee from the channel's rule
- You know which fees to claim back, and by when
How it works
One product, all your channels
Set channels up once. From then on every booking knows where it came from, how many places it takes and what it costs.
Shared capacity
Every booking comes off the same places
A departure has one capacity, whether the booking comes from your website, the desk, an OTA or a hotel. If a platform lists the tour as a separate product, you group those options into a shared capacity pool and a booking on any of them takes places from all of them.
- Each departure's occupancy broken down by channel
- Optional overbooking allowance per pool
- Closing a shared departure closes all its options
Channel types and fees
Every channel with its own commission rule
Create channels from the presets (GuruWalk, FreeTour.com, Civitatis, GetYourGuide, Viator) or from scratch. Each has a type and a rule: no commission, an amount per attendee, a percentage or a fixed amount per booking. Presets come without amounts: you enter the ones in your contract.
- Direct channels, OTAs, resellers and free-tour platforms
- No-show fee refunds, with their claim window in hours
- Reverse-charge VAT for platforms based abroad
Fee ledger
What you owe each platform, kept up to date
Every booking on a channel with a fee gets its own line: accrued when booked, confirmed when the departure is closed with the real attendees, and flagged to claim back if the platform refunds fees for no-shows. Bookings cancelled before the tour are voided.
- Amount owed after refunds, by channel and period
- Deadline to claim each refund
- The rule is stored on each line: changing it doesn't rewrite history
Bookings from other platforms
Paste the platform's email and the booking fills itself in
Until the direct OTA connections arrive, quick add reads the platform's confirmation email and fills in the departure, name, party size, channel and reference. You check it, save it and the booking counts against capacity. Tourandi warns you if that reference already exists.
- Add a booking in seconds from the Today screen
- Duplicate reference detection
- Optional confirmation email to the customer

FAQ
Questions about the channel manager
How places and commissions are shared across your channels.
What is a channel manager for tours?
It's the tool that keeps one availability for every place you sell a tour or activity: your website, the desk, OTAs, resellers and free-tour platforms. In Tourandi every booking comes off the same capacity and records its channel and commission.
Does Tourandi connect to Civitatis, GetYourGuide or Viator?
Direct connections are on our roadmap. Today you can sell on those platforms and record their bookings in Tourandi with quick add (pasting the confirmation email) or through the Turitop sync, so they count against the same capacity with their commission.
How does the Turitop sync work?
You connect your Turitop account and link each product to the matching Tourandi option. Bookings made in Turitop and through the agencies it connects appear in Tourandi by themselves, with their channel and reference. It's read-only: linked options are still managed in Turitop.
Can I keep track of what I pay each free-tour platform?
Yes. You set each platform's per-attendee fee and whether it refunds the fee for no-shows. When the departure is closed with the real attendees, Tourandi confirms what you owe and flags what you can claim back, with its deadline.
Can resellers book directly?
Yes. You invite the hotel or agency with the agent role and link it to its channel. They book in Tourandi, only see and manage their own bookings up to the deadline you set, and every booking carries their channel's commission.
Does Tourandi charge commission on OTA bookings?
No. Tourandi only charges commission on paid bookings made through Tourandi: your website, the widget or your booking page, paid online. Bookings from OTAs, resellers, free-tour platforms and the desk carry no Tourandi commission, and neither do free bookings.
