Ticketing and booking software for museums and attractions

Tourandi is booking and ticketing software for museums, heritage sites, visitor centres and attractions. Sell timed-entry tickets with several ticket types, keep the admissions desk and your website on one live capacity, and let staff check visitors in from their phones.

The day-to-day

What makes ticket sales hard

A museum or attraction runs on spreading visitors well across the day. These are the problems that come up most when sales happen in several places at once.

  • 01

Queues at midday, empty rooms at opening

Without timed entry, everyone turns up at the same time. Queues build at the door, the galleries get crowded, and first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon the space is almost empty.

Set up schedules that generate entry slots every day, each with its own capacity. Visitors pick a time when they buy and see which slots are still available.

  • 02

    Desk and website sell separately

The admissions desk keeps its own count and the website keeps another. On busy days you sell more tickets than fit, or you hold back capacity just in case and lose sales.

The desk, your website, resellers and OTAs all draw from the same capacity. Tourandi never confirms a ticket beyond the limit, even when several purchases arrive at once.

  • 03

Prices and rates hard to keep straight

Adults, children, infants who do not take a place, groups, high and low season, last-minute offers. Keeping all that in several tools ends with different prices depending on where the visitor buys.

Set up ticket types with age ranges, seasonal prices and automatic group, early-bird or last-minute discounts once, for every channel.

  • 04

Hotels and agencies booking by email

Hotel receptions, tour agencies and concierges ask for tickets by email or phone. Someone has to log them, check availability and later work out what each one is owed.

Give each hotel or agency its own login to book. They only see their own bookings, commission follows the channel's rule, and capacity is shared.

How Tourandi helps

Built for tickets, time slots and volume

The three parts of Tourandi museums and attractions use most, from the online purchase to the front door.

Timed entry

Timed-entry tickets, each slot with its capacity

Visitors choose a day and time on your website, see which slots are nearly full and pick adult, child or concession tickets. You decide how many slots there are each day, the capacity of each one and, if you like, a cap per ticket type.

  • Several daily slots generated from a schedule
  • Ticket types with age ranges and per-order limits
  • Closed dates and an online sales cut-off

Payments and vouchers

Get paid into your account and sell gift vouchers

Visitors pay by card through your own gateway, and the money goes straight into your Stripe or Redsys account. Sell gift vouchers with a code and balance, apply promo codes, and record cash, card-terminal or PayPal payments at the desk.

  • Printable gift vouchers with code and balance
  • Promo codes and automatic discounts
  • Daily cash-up for the admissions desk

Channel manager

Web, desk, hotels and OTAs on one capacity

Every ticket sold comes off the same capacity, whether it was booked on your website, at the desk, by a reseller hotel or through an OTA. You can see which channel each booking came from and the commission it carries under that channel's rule: per person, a percentage or a fixed amount.

  • Own logins for hotels, agencies and concierges
  • Commission per channel worked out on each booking
  • Sales and occupancy reports by channel

A day with Tourandi

A busy opening day, step by step

This is how a high-footfall day runs when the desk, your website and every channel sell from one capacity.

  1. 09:00

    Check the day's time slots

On the Today panel you see how many visitors are due in each slot, which slots are nearly full, and that the 12:00 guided tour in English still has no guide assigned.

  2. 10:00

    Doors open with phone check-in

Front-of-house staff find each booking by name or reference on the slot's list and tick visitors off as they arrive. Anyone arriving without a ticket is sold one at the desk on the spot.

  3. 11:30

A hotel books for its guests

A hotel reception books six tickets for the 16:00 slot through its own login. The booking sits under its channel and comes off the same capacity as your website.

  4. 15:00

    Visitors make their own changes

A visitor moves their ticket to a later slot from the link in their confirmation email, within the deadline you set. Nobody has to answer the phone.

  5. 19:00

    Cash-up and close of day

You cash up the desk by payment method and check the occupancy report by time slot to fine-tune next week's schedule.

FAQ

Questions about Tourandi for museums and attractions

What museums, heritage sites and attractions usually ask us before they start.

Can I sell timed-entry tickets?

Yes. You create schedules that generate entry slots every day, for example every half hour, each with its own capacity. Visitors choose a day and time when they buy and see which slots are still available. You can close whole dates, set an online sales cut-off and cap how many tickets of a given type are sold in each slot.

Do the admissions desk and online sales share capacity?

Yes. Tickets sold at the desk, on your website, by resellers or through OTAs all come off the same capacity in real time. Tourandi never confirms a ticket beyond the sales limit, even when several purchases arrive at the same moment. At the desk you record cash, card-terminal, bank transfer, Bizum or PayPal payments.

How are tickets checked at the entrance?

Your staff open the slot's list on their phone, find each booking by name or by the voucher reference and tick visitors off as they arrive; anyone without a ticket is recorded as a desk sale. When the slot closes you have the final count. Every printable voucher already carries a QR code; scanning it at the entrance is coming soon.

Can I sell gift vouchers and offer discounts?

Yes. You sell gift vouchers with a code and balance, which the recipient can print and redeem when buying tickets. You can also create promo codes, automatic discounts for groups, early bookings or last-minute purchases, and seasonal prices for each ticket type.

Can hotels and agencies sell my tickets?

Yes. You give each hotel, agency or concierge its own login with the agent role: they book tickets, see only their own bookings and can amend them up to the deadline you set. Each one is linked to a channel with its commission rule, per person, a percentage or a fixed amount, and everything comes off the same capacity.
